The restoration of Olivers Restaurant and the opening of the cafÃ©, bar and brewery within the historic walls of one of Otagoâ€™s most notable buildings was completed in Autumn 2015.

The Merchant of Clyde is already becoming a regular one-stop-shop for locals and visitors in Clyde, who are soaking up the flavours of Olivers' cafe-delicatessen-bakery.
And for those who truly love their coffee - we’re proud to be selling the Hummingbird roasted and blended coffee - 100% certified organic.
Our specialist baking team starts early each day to bake the goods for the cafe and produce the other specialty products sold. Freshly baked bread is also produced in the Olivers' kitchen and a range of rustic loaves are for sale.
The Merchant of Clyde's specialty condiments and preserves are also an important part of the experience. The range of jams and chutneys includes capsicum, tomato and chilli jam; raspberry and plum conserve; apricot and pasionfruit jam; roasted quince, apple and walnut relish; roasted beetroot, red onion and orange pickle and a green tomato and jalapeno sauce.
As well as products originating from a mix of seasonal, local produce, the delicatessen also features products with an international flavour - Italian pasta and rissotto rice are for sale, as well as authentic foreign vinegars, spices, capers and saffron. And a wonderful range of cheeses.
